Associates in Urogynecology
Urogynecologist Sarah St. Louis, MD, grew up in Winter Park and attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic School and Winter Park High School. As a teen, she spent much of her time job shadowing her father, Phillip St. Louis, MD — a now retired neurosurgeon, at work, which fostered her love for medicine. She graduated with a degree in chemistry from Spelman College in 2003, went on to earn her medical degree from Howard University, and then completed her internship in general surgery at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University.
Dr. St. Louis was always passionate about women’s health, leading her to pursue her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Hofstra North Shore-Long Island Jewish School of Medicine in New York. During her internship and residency, she also realized her love for surgery and went on to complete a sub-specialty fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at Atlantic Health System in Morristown, New Jersey. Dr. St. Louis is now board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and specializes in robotic surgery, female pelvic reconstructive vaginal surgery and urogynecology. Following in the footsteps of her father, she opened her own private practice, Associates in Urogynecology, in 2018, and is affiliated with both Advent Health and Orlando Health.
Dr. St. Louis believes helping her patients achieve quality of life as it pertains to their female pelvic and sexual wellness is of the utmost importance. She actively listens and engages with her patients to personally tailor conservative, medical, behavioral and surgical treatments according to their individual goals and lifestyles. She diagnoses and treats prolapse, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, recurrent infections, overactive bladder and interstitial cystitis, amongst other disorders.
Published in numerous peer-reviewed medical
journals, Dr. St. Louis is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, serves as President of the Central Florida Medical Society (the local chapter of the National Medical Association), and is an Associate Physician for Best Doctors, Inc.
She also serves as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and sits on the Board of Advisors for Dueling Dragons of Orlando.
She resides in Orlando with her fiancé and enjoys spending time with her family, participating in health and fitness activities, and dancing. Follow her story on Instagram @associatesinurogynecology or on Facebook @AssociatesInUrogyn.
