Scott McMillen’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Law degree from Emory University and a B.S. in Government from Florida State University.
He began his legal career representing hospitals and doctors, but for the last 33 years, he has represented patients and their families. Mr. McMillen is Senior Counsel to the law firm of Paul Knopf Bigger, PLLC, with primary offices in Orlando, Winter Park, and Tampa.
Mr. McMillen has been featured in the last seven annual editions of Best Lawyers in America®, which also named him as the Orlando “Lawyer of the Year” in the specialty of plaintiff’s medical malpractice for 2025, which is an honor he also received in 2022.
