Center for Reproductive Medicine
A widely recognized leader in the field of reproductive medicine, Sharon B. Jaffe, MD, is credited as the first female to become board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility in the state of Florida. She is proud to serve patients at the Center for Reproductive Medicine in Winter Park and Celebration, Florida. CRM is known for providing compassionate patient care, customized treatment plans, and affordable pricing options to give patients every possible chance to conceive.
Dr. Jaffe is a graduate of the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. After completing her medical and post-graduate education in obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she received a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where she remained as the medical director for the in vitro fertilization program. A highly qualified fertility doctor, she currently serves as the director of the Florida clinic’s anonymous donor egg program. For over eight years, Dr. Jaffe directed the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Orlando Regional Healthcare System OB/GYN Residency Program and served as a courtesy clinical associate professor at the University of Florida.
Since joining the Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) in 1997, Dr. Jaffe has combined her experience as a breast cancer survivor and her knowledge as a reproductive endocrinologist to develop a fertility preservation program for men and women diagnosed with cancer. Patients are grateful when she provides her experience and support as both a physician and cancer survivor. Dr. Jaffe was also named an associate professor at the University of Central Florida’s new medical school where she assisted in creating curriculum for the reproduction and endocrine module for second-year medical students. Dr. Jaffe also believes in patient education, previously serving as the host of a nationwide television show discussing various women’s issues. Dr. Jaffe provides each patient with preconception counseling, educating patients on proper nutrition and exercise followed by information on testing and treatment options. She speaks in a very straight-forward manner, allowing patient participation in decision-making.
Dr. Jaffe has authored numerous scientific research articles and publications and has given many lectures and presentations on reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She has consistently been named on the Best Doctors in America® list. Additional recognitions for Dr. Jaffe include Patient’s Choice Award, Compassionate Doctor Award, Attending of the Year, Outstanding Educator UCF College of Medicine, Top Doctors Exceptional Women in Medicine, Orlando Style Women of the Year 2018 and Women who move the City 2021.
Dr. Sharon Jaffe always says she has the best job in the world. “Through 30 years of taking care of patients, I still look forward to coming in every day and offering my best to every infertility patient referred to me. It is a privilege to help them build their family. I have experienced many exhilarating moments when I meet “my babies” years later when I am introduced to them as children, teenagers or adults on the streets of Central Florida!”
