Lushantha Gunasekera, MD, FACC

Dr. Gunasekera is a board-certified cardiologist who has been practicing full time in central Florida and specifically in Clermont since 2008. He is currently Chief of Staff at South Lake Hospital and served as Chairperson of the Quality Committee on three separate occasions. From 2012-2019, he was a member of the Board of Directors for South Lake Hospital. Dr. Gunasekera has served as Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab, Director of the Chest Pain Unit, and Director of Cardiac Rehab at South Lake Hospital. 

Dr. Gunasekera volunteers his time within the community by serving on the Live Well Foundation. While it was open, Dr. Gunasekera was a volunteer physician at the South Lake Health Clinic.

For his philanthropic work, he was honored to receive the Mortin Levy Humanitarian Award and the Orange County Medical Society Award for Humanitarian Services. He was also presented with the Orlando Health Exemplary Physician Award.

Dr. Gunasekera believes in partnering with his patients in order to achieve their best possible healthcare and life outcomes.

Dustin R. Hill, MD, FACC

Dr. Hill, a proud Central Florida native, is dedicated to comprehensive patient care, focusing on nutrition, exercise, sleep, mental health, and pharmacology to improve both lifespan and enhance longevity. He emphasizes preventing chronic disease rather than managing it. Dr. Hill holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, completed medical training at AUIS in St. Maarten, and earned an MBA in Healthcare Management.

A compassionate, board-certified cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular imaging and interventions, he completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Orlando Health. He is board certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Hill teaches at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and has presented his research at major cardiology conferences.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Hill is a devoted husband, father, and community leader, actively supporting healthcare, education, arts, and culture initiatives in Central Florida.

Pablo R. Lopez, MD, FACC

Dr. Lopez, is a board-certified Invasive Cardiologist based in Orlando, FL. With over 20 years of medical experience, he is focused on patient centered care. His goal is to reassure and educate patients on their conditions so they can be an active part in decision making and embrace the treatment plan. He has multiple board certifications in cardiac imaging techniques and a strong background in invasive cardiac procedures. These skill sets provide patients with excellent diagnostic and treatment options, allowing him to manage cardiovascular conditions throughout the spectrum of care.

Dr. Lopez earned his medical degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador and trained at Dante Pazzanese Cardiology Institute in Brazil.  He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at East Tennessee State University.  He served as chief resident and chief fellow. He has received numerous honors and awards for outstanding research and performance. 

Jorge A. Uribe, MD, FACC

Dr. Uribe is a board-certified cardiologist with The Cardiovascular Center of Florida. He is also board certified in Echocardiography, Nuclear cardiology and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Uribe completed his medical school at Universidad del Rosario, one of the most prestigious universities in Colombia and his residency program and fellowship with Orlando Health. He is fluent in English and Spanish, which allows him to effectively communicate and care for patients from different ethnic backgrounds.

Dr. Uribe practiced as an internal medicine physician for seven years before going into cardiology, providing him a more extensive comprehension of medical problems which also impact the heart. As a cardiologist he is an expert on cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias and hypertension. Dr. Uribe is very passionate about his patients and believes that early and appropriate evaluation and treatment can improve the quality of life.
