Attorney Alexandria Gordon-Mayhue, a proud Floridian, was raised in the heart of the Orlando community. She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business. She is a recipient of Florida’s Bright Futures Scholarship; which proved to be invaluable in her pursuit of a Law Degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Orlando Campus.  Attorney Gordon-Mayhue realized at an early age she had a strong desire to pursue a Law Degree, and to subsequently serve her community as an Attorney.  In 2007 her expertise and testimony proved to be vital in the litigation and trial of the assailants convicted in the death of her Father- Orlando Police Officer Alfred Louis Gordon.  Her legal professionalism was also instrumental in securing a $24 Million wrongful death settlement for her family, and she continues to provide legal services and assistance to other victims as needed.

Attorney Gordon-Mayhue obtained years of professional legal training while working at one of Orlando’s largest Personal Injury Law Firms.  This invaluable experience enabled her to rapidly excel at two of the nation’s largest insurance carriers.  During her career in the insurance industry, she progressed from claims adjuster, claims manager, then upward to Panel Counsel Associate in record time.  Becoming an expert in the insurance field, she served as an attentive Legal Arbitrator, rendering numerous binding decisions in liability and medical disputes.  Her insurance expertise has proven to be instrumental in the thousands of Personal Injury cases she has resolved, and to the current clients of her Law Practice.    

Attorney Gordon-Mayhue has founded and maintains a prominent Real Estate Title Company, specializing in both luxury and residential real estate closings.  In addition, Attorney Gordon-Mayhue and her husband operate a thriving Real Estate Restoration and Resale Company.  Working as a creative team; she and her husband have become a recognized Florida name in the acquisition, restoration, and resale of distressed real estate properties.

Attorney Gordon-Mayhue’s honors and recognitions include but are not limited to: Recipient of the National Black Lawyers’ “Top 40 Attorneys under the age of 40” for the years of 2019-2021, and Recipient of the Elite Lawyer Award for 2021. She has also been featured in a detailed publication by Black Enterprise Magazine, entitled “Top 10 Black Lawyers You Should Know.”

During her reign as Miss Black South Florida, Attorney Gordon-Mayhue was passionate about providing mentorship to inner city youths. She continues to provide this assistance through several local charities where she is often a motivating speaker, as well as a source of financial support.

Attorney Gordon-Mayhue has served as a panelist for the ACLU Central Florida Chapter, defending issues relative to civil liberties, equality, and basic injustices. She is a member of the Florida Bars Young Lawyer’s Division, and she takes great pride in defending clients throughout the State of Florida.  She is also a Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, a prominent worldwide service organization.

Attorney Gordon-Mayhue currently resides in Apopka, Florida where she enjoys traveling and relaxing with her husband and three children.
