Education & Credentials
Dr. George Mitrogogos was born and raised in Orlando, FL. He graduated with honors from the University of South Florida and was awarded a scholarship from the U.S. Army to attend Dental School. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University Dental School in Boston, MA. While on Active duty, Dr. Mitrogogos completed a one-year advanced education in dentistry and for five years he served as an Army Dentist, where he focused on cosmetics. Dr. Mitrogogos has completed over 2500 additional hours of dental continuing education to stay abreast with all advances in dentistry. He utilizes his advanced training and experience to treat even the most challenging dental situations.

Since 2011, Sanford Dental Excellence has been a family-owned private practice. Our practice offers comprehensive dental care in one location in a state-of-the-art facility.
