Celebrating more than 30 years, Dr. Cordell Mitchell proudly continues to serve the Central Florida community as a dedicated physician who delivers far beyond routine medical care to his patients. Elite in his own right and earning recognition as one of Orlando Style’s Doctors of the Year, Dr. Mitchell and his wonderful team would like to thank their families, friends, and medical colleagues for their unconditional support and patients for entrusting them with the privilege to provide care to them.

As one of the most trusted sources of medical expertise in his patient’s life, Dr. Mitchell has made it his mission to understand each and every one of his patients. “If I really listen to what the patient says, I am able to understand what’s wrong. I listen and ask questions because of my genuine care and concern,” says Dr. Mitchell.

He strongly emphasizes the importance of taking ample time to thoroughly understand his patient’s needs, values and concerns. “My goal is to collaborate with the patient and their family so that they feel empowered to make informed decisions regarding complex medical situations.”

As a full service obstetrics and gynecology practice, Dr. Mitchell offers a comprehensive menu of services to treat women of all ages and walks of life. Dr. Mithcell shares, “I am blessed to be able to bring new life into the world. The joy a baby brings her mother is truly rewarding.” 

 Dr. Mitchell earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville before completing his residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at Mercer University. He also received a bachelor’s and master’s in toxicology and pharmacy from Florida A & M University as well as a bachelor’s degree in business at Valdosta State University. 

OUR COMMUNITY 
Dr. Mitchell strives to educate women about their bodies and encourages women to take control of their physical, sexual, and emotional health as well as incorporate a healthy lifestyle of sustainable habits. He is passionate about women’s health, healthcare disparities and health rights awareness. 

REGENERATIVE MEDICINE 
Dr. Mitchell has spent most of his career studying and mastering the art of women’s healthcare and has extensive training  in integrative, anti-aging and regenerative medicine. We are proud to have introduced vaginal rejuvenation that corrects the vaginal relaxation often experienced by women as a result of aging or childbirth, resulting in more self confidence and sexual satisfaction by the patient and her partner. Dr. Mitchell also specializes in labiaplasty, laser tattoo removal, injectable facial fillers, bioidentical hormone therapy, osteoporosis screening and weight management. Dr. Mitchell is affiliated with Advent Health and Orlando Health. 

FAMILY 
Dr. Mitchell has been blessed with a loving and supportive wife and family. In his free time, Dr. Mitchell enjoys reading and family time. He is an avid car enthusiast. He also enjoys traveling, landscaping and listening to music.
