My name is Dr. Mahnaz Qayyum. My desire to heal was first formed when my physician parents practiced in England, United Kingdom. I come from a family of physicians with specialties ranging from General Surgery, OB GYN to Cardiology. Listening to their stories over dinner inspired me to enter the medical field. I grew up in Great Britain. I now practice in Orlando, Florida. Having experienced both socialized and private medicine, I am able to provide a unique perspective to my patients. My mission is to treat patients holistically from the inside and the outside.
Today, I share my philosophy with my patients. This journey takes patients to achieve lasting health, anti-aging, and weight loss. The journey starts with a blood test as the baseline. Patients are given health milestones and how to achieve them. They are educated about how health and lasting beauty is a lifestyle and not a passing fad.
My two-decade medical experience in hospital and clinic settings has helped me transform patients’ lives for the better. My passion is to reverse the ravages of poor health and unhealthy lifestyle. This is done in several ways. Health education is a fundamental aspect of my treatment. If people understand their disease processes, then they are better equipped to handle them. My philosophy is based on the “Bio Psycho Social” model of medicine. This embodies the whole health aspect of mind, body, and spirit. Our team will hold your hand through your wellness journey to achieve a mutual goal. This will enable patients to live healthy and happy lives.
Patients are seen at my two locations at Celebration (Family Practice of Celebration) and Dr. Philips (Family Care Specialists of Orlando.) These two locations are collectively known as the Elysium Group.
