Jocelyn Davis grew up just north of Baltimore. She says her Mom raised her on sweet tea, creativity, and resourceful-spunk. Jocelyn has loved Orlando ever since she was on the Opening Team of Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 1998. Jocelyn and her husband, Jared are influential people who have spent the last decade starting new churches in Central Florida. They live on Lake Holden with their two beautiful children.
When asked about her success, Jocelyn Davis, with confidence attributes her success in Real Estate to prayer, friendship and joining EXP Realty. Since moving over to EXP Realty in March of 2016, she has recruited six incredibly talented friends to The Essential Team. As we looked into The Essential Team social media presence, we discovered the word “serve” kept coming up. When we asked Jocelyn what she meant by that, she replied, “All of my team members value the Golden Rule, and they genuinely seek to serve people and put our clients’ goals above their own.” Sometimes we show up at our seller’s homes with a paintbrush in our hand; we treat our sellers like friends.”
Jocelyn Davis had been running a staging business for four years when she and her husband became aware through prayer that it was time to expand the business and go into Real Estate. “I was enjoying seeing people sell their home in less than 30 days and at 8-10% more on their home sale because of the design work we did on their home.” That’s why Jocelyn and her team now offer free staging to their listing clients as part of what she calls “The Essential Team proven seller strategy.”
She believes that’s one of the reasons they have been able to successfully serve hundreds of clients with an Average number of days on the market of 11.3 days since 2016. Orlando Regional Realtors Association reported in September that 48 days was the average days on the market, in comparison.
“People walk in our sellers’ homes, and they experience positive feelings because of the design work we do, and then they put in an offer, and our sellers love that!”
The day after getting her real estate license Jocelyn says she received confirmation that she was in the right business when she was able to negotiate a $45,000 builder credit for her buyer on a new construction home in Laureate Park, Lake Nona.
It was abundantly clear during our interview that Jocelyn Davis is a dynamic team leader and highly valued real estate professional that enjoys working together with her team to serve people in residential and commercial Real Estate.
