Orlando’s Night of Fashion, Philanthropy & Fun
One of the city’s most fun and fashionable nights is right around the corner and anticipating its biggest and best event yet! If there’s one thing Orlando should be known for, there’s no doubt that it should be its sense of community. The community consistently and passionately unites as one to serve a greater good, and Fashion for Wishes is a perfect example of that unity.
On March 27th, Fashion for Wishes will be celebrating its fourth annual fashion forward event benefiting Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida. This fun and fashionable night will bring over ten Central Florida based boutiques, models and local celebrity models as well as very special Make-A-Wish Kid Models all styled by Hair and Make-Up artists from Leal Marston and Trend Studios in Downtown Orlando.
Fashion for Wishes stands true to its name – promoting fashion to support local children facing a critical illness. The average wish costs $8,000, and the goal of Fashion for Wishes is to grant 3-4 wishes. Proceeds are made directly to Make-A-Wish Central and North Florida in an effort to make the wishes and dreams of these children come true.
Event organizer, JR Tanghal, is no stranger to bringing the community together to support local and national charities. Fashion for Wishes really embraces a local aspect. Those participating include local celebrities, boutiques, make-up artists and hair stylists. “We are passionate about bringing people together for a great cause with Make-A-Wish by putting the FUN in Fundraising and doing great things together,” says JR.
Fashion for Wishes wouldn’t be a continuous success without not only the volunteers, but the members of our community who make it out to support the cause! The event will take place on Friday, March 27th at The Balcony Orlando from 8pm-11pm. Tickets start at $50 for general admission and $100 for VIP. All ticket purchases include open bar.
