Attorney Gonzalez started out her legal career as an administration of justice major at Rutgers University. After graduation, she moved to Florida to serve as a Seminole County Senior/High Risk Probation Officer. She then attended Florida A&M University, College of Law and was admitted in 2009. Upon graduating from law school, she worked as a Public Defender zealously representing hundreds of people in criminal law matters.
All of her accomplishments have been achieved through her dedication, passion, and her fighting spirit, which are the same pillars she meets for each of her clients.
In 2011, she opened her family law practice now known as The MGR Law Firm, PLLC. She has a passion to help families thrive and succeed, no matter their unique circumstances. Her experiences have significantly contributed to her appreciation that each case is unique and needs to be handled with its very own customized approach.
She is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled many simple and complex family law matters related to time-sharing (custody & visitation), child support, divorce, alimony, and all family issues. She represents both men and women and married and unmarried parents.
As a successful entrepreneur and business leader, Ms. Gonzalez has a keen understanding when it comes to handling family law matters for high net worth clients, who have substantial assets. She is also committed to helping clients find ways to peacefully resolve their cases through collaborative law efforts or as a neutral mediator.
Ms. Gonzalez educates our community by speaking on family law issues to non-profit groups. This year she will be a featured speaker at the I Am Brave Conference. There she will offer participants with practical tools and life lessons to grow professionally and personally.
She serves as a Director on the Board of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando providing leadership and supporting the economic development of the Orlando business community. Her commitment to the community was noticed in 2016, when Vision Magazine and City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer recognized her one of the 25 most influential Hispanics in Central Florida.
Ms. Gonzalez, her husband Felix Rivera, and their children: William, Alexis, and Eleina are a blended family who support all families. She would be honored to be an advocate for you and your family.
