Greater Orlando Family Law

Attorney Michael Vaghaiwalla grew up in Central Florida and earned his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida. Thereafter, Michael began his legal career working as a paralegal with a prominent litigation firm in Orlando handling medical malpractice, wrongful death, negligence, and product liability cases. Michael’s success furthered his desire to help people and led him to attend law school.

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law. Based on his outstanding legal research and writing skills, Michael was selected to research and collaborate on an Amicus Brief that was filed with the United States Supreme Court on a historic public interest issue relating to healthcare. While in law school, Michael also authored a public interest article that was published by the Orlando Sentinel that received national recognition from Kaiser Health News and other newspaper outlets across the country.

Michael spent significant time in law school giving back to the community by donating his time and efforts to FSU College of Law’s Public Interest Law Center where he represented medically fragile children in order to obtain access to healthcare. Michael continues to actively pursue opportunities to give back to the community and is involved with many community programs.

Since graduating law school, Michael has devoted his practice to family law matters.  In 2018, Michael became a partner at Greater Orlando Family Law.  Greater Orlando Family Law has a solid reputation for providing aggressive, attentive, and effective representation for their clients.

Michael’s practice focuses on advocating for individuals in all areas of family law including divorce, custody/timesharing disputes, paternity, alimony and child support modifications, and related matters. Michael has always endeavored to ensure his clients receive a positive experience during difficult times in their lives.  Michael has received numerous awards and recognition during his legal career as a result of his dedication, hard work, and positive client experiences.  He recognizes that having to retain a lawyer for divorce and other disputed family matters is not an easy process and he takes the time to ensure his clients have a complete understanding of what to expect throughout their case taking in consideration their individual needs and concerns. When Michael is not in Court advocating for his clients, he spends most of his free time with his lovely wife Meghan and their three-year-old son.
