Dr. David Rosen is one of Florida’s premier neurological surgeons. His professional life is dedicated to the highest quality, compassionate, ethical neurosurgical care. Dr. Rosen specializes in advanced treatment of nervous system tumors and minimally invasive spine surgery. He is a highly experienced surgeon. Over the past decade, Dr. Rosen is Central Florida’s most frequently chosen neurosurgeon.

Dr. Rosen performs complex and minimally invasive procedures for tumors including gliomas, glioblastomas, meningiomas, vestibular schwannomas, and pituitary adenomas.

A leading spine surgeon and advocate for the advancement of spine care, Dr. Rosen has pioneered advanced surgical techniques to improve his patients’ experience including minimally invasive, computer assisted, and robotic spine surgery. Dr. Rosen lectures internationally educating hundreds of fellow surgeons about these advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Rosen has a deep professional interest in alternative options to fusion surgery including disc replacement and neuromodulation procedures. When fusion is necessary, Dr. Rosen is Florida’s most experienced minimally invasive, computer assisted, robotic spine surgeon.

Dr. Rosen is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a partner at Orlando Neurosurgery, Florida’s largest independent neurosurgery practice. Dr. Rosen preforms neurosurgical procedures at AdventHealth and Orlando Health.

Raised a Midwesterner, Dr. Rosen attended The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Continuing at the University of Chicago for his neurosurgery residency, he worked with internationally renowned minimally invasive neurosurgery thought leaders. Dr. Rosen completed additional training in complex brain tumor surgery at one of the world’s premier cancer centers, The M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
