Aimed at partner racing teams and dedicated circuit enthusiasts, the Vantage GT4 completes Aston Martin’s formidable GT lineup, showcasing the brand’s unwavering dedication to motorsport, from casual track days to the pinnacle of racing in Formula One®.

Building upon the legacy of its predecessor, the outgoing Vantage GT4, the new iteration is poised to dominate GT racing’s junior categories from the get-go. With advancements inspired by the performance and technology enhancements of the newly unveiled Vantage road car, the Vantage GT4 boasts a plethora of upgrades in chassis, aerodynamics, drivetrain, and efficiency, ensuring its status as a formidable contender on the track.

Marco Mattiacci, Chief Brand and Commercial Officer at Aston Martin Lagonda, expresses confidence in the new Vantage GT4, stating, “The new Vantage GT4 is a born winner. Benefitting from the significant performance improvements seen in the sensational new Vantage road car, and developed in parallel with the Vantage GT3, the Vantage GT4 is a demonstration of the increasing synergies between our road and race car programs.”

Moreover, the introduction of the Vantage GT4 strengthens Aston Martin’s relationship with its partner teams, providing them with a competitive edge in global GT racing. With over 40 active partner teams across various GT racing championships worldwide, Aston Martin reaffirms its commitment to motorsport at all levels, fostering closer ties with fans and followers who have been captivated by the brand’s racing heritage.

Designed, engineered, and built by Aston Martin Racing (AMR), the Vantage GT4 benefits from the wealth of experience accumulated since AMR became the official GT racing partner of Aston Martin in 2005. Drawing upon the success of its predecessors, the Vantage GT4 program utilizes advancements from the new Vantage road car to achieve unprecedented performance gains.

Adam Carter, Aston Martin’s Head of Endurance Motorsport, elaborates on the evolution of the Vantage GT4, emphasizing the seamless integration of improvements from the new road car while retaining the core qualities that made its predecessor a favorite among teams and drivers.

With stringent regulations dictating that the GT4 Vantage closely mirrors its production counterpart, the race car shares approximately 80 percent of its structural and mechanical architecture with the road car. Key components, including the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and transmission, undergo modifications to meet racing specifications while maintaining reliability and performance.

Continued advancements in chassis technology and aerodynamics ensure that the Vantage GT4 delivers optimal performance on the track. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and input from Aston Martin’s Design department refine the aerodynamic package, resulting in increased downforce and reduced drag compared to its predecessor.

Following an extensive development program, the new Vantage GT4 made its international racing debut at the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge event during the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. With production in full swing and orders pouring in from customer teams worldwide, the Vantage GT4 is set to make a lasting impact on the global GT racing scene.

By building on its rich legacy and embracing cutting-edge technology, the new Aston Martin Vantage GT4 represents the pinnacle of performance and reliability. Whether competing at the highest level of professional racing or enjoying spirited drives on the track, the Vantage GT4 offers teams and drivers an unrivaled platform for success.
