Dr. Gustavo Arvelo is the founder and CEO of various enterprises including the distinguished medical group, Primary Health Care Associates (PHCA).
The PHCA Medical Group has been in Central Florida for more than 30 years and has cared for thousands of patients. Over the years PHCA has earned a reputation for being an outstanding medical team commitment and dedicated to the wellbeing of all our Central Florida seniors.
Dr. Arvelo has driven PHCA towards becoming a cutting-edge Senior Focused Primary Care organization which improves its patient’s health by constantly evolving its technologies with proprietary software, while keeping the human touch with services such as personal consultations, home and telemedicine care.
Dr. Arvelo was born in Manhattan, New York. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Chemistry at the Universidad de Puerto Rico and his medical degree from UCCEM School of Medicine. Where he also performed studies in advanced mathematics and research sponsored by the National Institute of Health (NIH), Co-published histological studies on Barret’s Esophagus and chemical research studies on the renal effects of Vanadium Oxide. After which he then proceeded to obtained an Internal Medicine degree from New York Medical College.
After graduating from New York, he moved to central Florida with his wife Beatriz where he began his career and became a proud husband and the father of three children.
On his time off Dr.Arvelo and his wife love to travel with their children and grandchildren, and enjoy the outdoors
