Dr.Sompalli was the first Cardiologist to perform Angioplasty and Stenting in Carol County, Georgia; as well as one of the principal investigators for C-port Trial (Angioplasty without on-site bypass surgery). He was also past Chairman of Cardiology department in Orlando area Advent Hospitals.
