I am thankful to Orlando Style for recognizing me as an “Attorney of the Year.”

I have been practicing personal injury law helping injured victims in this community for over 30 years.  I left one of the areas most recognized personal injury firms and started my own firm five years ago.  The mission statement of Klausman Law is: “We’re here to help people. We treat every client as we would want to be treated.”

There is great pleasure in being able to use my experience and knowledge to help people. It’s good karma.

My father and mother taught me to always treat people the way you would want them to treat you. To put yourself in the other person’s shoes to understand what they are feeling. To try and do your best at everything you do. To make as many friends as you can, because you never have too many.

Clients should feel good about their attorney. Each client has my cell number to call me whenever they have a question or problem, even after hours.

Results also matter.  When the results for a client exceed their expectations, that client is the attorney’s best source of advertising.

I had a client who was so overwhelmed with the results after her insurance company tried to cheat her that she asked if she would ever have to return some of the money I obtained for her in a settlement.   

I’ve devoted my years of practice is trying to excel in helping clients with injury claims, helping families of loved ones who lost a family member due to someone else’s negligence, and helping clients with insurance claims.

Many of our clients have been referred by former clients, other lawyers and even by several judges. I have been fortunate to have received recognition from the legal community, including peer reviewed recognition for more than 10 years from Super Lawyers magazine and as a “Legal Elite” attorney by Florida Trend magazine.   I have been recognized with awards from the Florida Justice Association and by our local Bar Association.   

Like most injury attorney firms, there is no attorney fee until we obtain a recovery for our clients. Different from other firms is we do not use non-lawyer case workers to answer our client’s questions. The matters I handle are very important to my clients. There can be lifetime consequences.  I am always  available for my clients.

We are here to provide care and help to our clients. My goal is to do the best I can for each client, with the hope the results will make a new friend.  I enjoy helping people.
